Mühlbauer’s HYPRINT 50 states a revolution in the smart card personalization low volume segment. It is the first solution for the instant issuance market with a combination of laser engraving and dye sublimation printing.
Contrary to the current available solutions that already include modules for re-transfer printing and laser engraving, the new HYPRINT 50 exchanges re-transfer through the much more efficient dye sublimation (D2T2) printing. This results in a very low priced consumption of consumables and following in a well cost-per-card ratio.
In addition, modules for combined contact and contactless chip encoding, security foil lamintion and vision/inspection are included into this consequently future-oriented machine. An integrated suction system for the laser cares about the operator’s health. Thus the HYPRINT 50 is ready to fullfil the legal technical requirements for industrial safety.
Brilliant color printing and best laser engraved text, lines and images on both sides – and this in such a compact system – make the HYPRINT 50 the optimum solution for ID and other high security card applications, but nevertheless also suitable for low volume demands, where cost-efficient personalization is the main task.
