In order to continuously improve the security of sovereign identity documents in Germany, Mühlbauer AG will work even more closely together with the German Ministry of the Interior (BMI) in the future. On the CeBIT, the German Minister of the Interior, Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble, and the CEO of Mühlbauer AG, Josef Mühlbauer, signed an agreement for a security partnership for document security.
The company Mühlbauer offers innovative and reliable technologies for the production of high-security sovereign identity documents and has already co-operated on this field with the German government as well as numerous other governments and authorities. Mühlbauer is the only company worldwide that is able to offer the complete range of turnkey technology solutions and software-based processes for digital security and contactless identification from a single source - from die bonding, card production, personalization and integration of security features to the capturing and verification of personal data. The aim of the partnership with the BMI is to improve the security features of ID documents of the Federal Republic of Germany by this intensive co-operation, and thus contribute to an increase of national security.
