Industrial image processing is closely connected with our history.

TEMA was founded in 1976 and has been involved in camera technology from the word go, first in the field of video observation systems, later when software solutions for image processing were developed. The next step suggested itself: industrial image processing.

In the mid 80s industrial image processing had already become our core business.

Very few standard solutions were available at that time – a fact that often turned industrial image processing into pioneer work. We had a share in making this technology known to the industry. Today, machine vision is a natural part of many production processes.
