The Mühlbauer Group is a worldwide proven technology partner for Smart Identification systems. At PRINT ´09 the company presents a complete turnkey solution for Smart Card issuance, from data enrollment to card personalization.
Data enrollment is done by the flexible data enrollment suitcase getID MOBILE, Mühlbauer’s mobile enrollment station for alphanumerical, optical and multi-biometrical data capturing – fully functional within minutes. The optimization and further-processing of the data is directly done inside by the in-house developed software solution Mühlbauer getID LIVE. A worldwide unique enhancement module automatically adapts signatures and pictures according to ICAO specifications. Thus, Mühlbauer’s getID MOBILE is also perfect as backup enrollment system (offline and online enrollment).
After the enrollment process the data sets are transferred to the Mühlbauer card personalization machines CLP 54 and CTP 57. These desktop solutions are ideal for decentralized or small volume demands. The CLP 54 is the laser based system; the CTP 57 personalizes by dye sublimation printing (D2T2). Both machines posses modules for contact / contactless chip encoding as well as control of print and data. In addition, the CLP 54 is able to process a swivel picture. The CTP 57 includes a unit for roll-on overlay lamination to secure the print. Optionally, a magstripe encoding and embossing/indent printing module can be integrated to produce bank cards.
