Cartes Paris, held from November 17th to 19th at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, is the world’s leading event for digital security and smart technologies. The Mühlbauer Group, technology partner for smart card, e-Passport and RFID solutions, will present its new CMI 200plus for combined milling and implanting of standard smart card applications, at its booth no. 4P028.
The CMI 200plus is a product out of Mühlbauer’s “ecoline” series. As all machines with this brand, the CMI 200plus is characterized as a standardized solution for standardized applications. Due to a production in large lots it provides an ideal cost/performance ratio. Although the machine setup is simple and compact; the CMI 200plus nevertheless intergrates proven process stations that ensure highest quality, known by Mühlbauer for almost 30 years.
An enhanced machine concept allows a maximum throughput of up to 2,500 UPH. This is an up to twenty-five percent higher productivity compared to the former CMI 200. At its booth no. 4P028 at Cartes 2009 in Paris, Mühlbauer additionally presents a further product out of the new “ecoline”: CML 200, a new efficient system for standard chip module lamination tasks.
Visitors can also get their own sample ID card or passport, realized by a turnkey solution for biometric data enrollment, management and security as well as desktop issuance systems for card and ePassport personalization.
