Cooperation with „Handke Industrie Software Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH“ 

As a partner of Rommel GmbH, the company Handke Industrie Software Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH offers modular software-packages out of their Line-Recorder software solution that allow data analysis of stored data regarding machine availability which enable the optimization of production processes.

With the development of the Line-Recorder Smartbox, Handke has been able to bridge a gap:  the communication with the modules takes place via the SMEMA-interface. The smartbox can create additional IO or NIO signals which can be received and transferred to stop or pass a PCB in the production line. It is furthermore possible to connect one or two scanners to every single smartbox which guarantees consistent capture of the PCB’s product ID – and with it continuous traceability during the entire production process.

Moreover, additional data can be generated and stored based on the product ID. In the past this information was only saved as a “by-product”, however now the Line-Recorder software can generate special reports and analyses out of this information which can be used to increase the efficiency of either the single unit or the complete production line.
